Welcome! Congratulations on your new role. You will play an important part as the latest addition to the division of Finance, Operations and Administration. To help guide us in our mission, we follow a set of values:
- We aim to advance sustainability in the resources we steward.
- We drive innovation to solve our greatest challenges.
- We exercise integrity in all that we do.
- We build community by embracing our diversity.

Being a UC Davis staff member
Every UC Davis staff member is also a member of Staff Assembly, which is part of the university’s shared governance system as one of its five constituent organizations (the others are the Academic Senate, Academic Federation and two student associations). Staff Assembly hosts meetings, social events, a newsletter, staff awards and scholarships. It is also organizes the annual Thank Goodness for Staff (TGFS) picnic.

All UC Davis employees receive the weekly Dateline email, which provides news for both faculty and staff, including featured news articles, press releases, campus announcements, upcoming events and more. See the email archive or read some of its recent articles.
